As a person-centered counselor, I prioritize and value each client’s perspective and expertise on their own lived experience. My hope is to walk alongside clients on their path to healing, illuminating areas for growth and exploration while providing support.
I have several areas of interest, including anxiety, grief and loss, recovery maintenance, and therapeutic work related to perfectionism, self-esteem, and navigating relationships.
My approach is holistic, and is rooted in curiosity, empathy and compassion. There are several approaches and modalities that I integrate into therapy based on each client’s unique needs, and these include parts work, dialectical behavioral therapy, somatic techniques and narrative therapy.
I completed my undergraduate studies at the University of Puget Sound in the Pacific Northwest, and received a master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from St. Edward’s University in my hometown of Austin, Texas.
In my free time, I enjoy hiking, yoga, being outdoors and spending time with my husband and our pet family.
